Selling courses

This page shows you how to sell your courses — charge learners to enrol, with the payment handled online.

Connect a payment gateway

Zinye Learn takes payments through a payment gateway. Several are supported, including Stripe, PayPal, Razorpay, Braintree, GoCardless, Mpesa, and PayTM.

  1. Enter your provider’s keys in its settings (for example, Stripe Settings for Stripe).
  2. Open Settings in the portal and go to the Payment Gateway section.
  3. Select the gateway you want to use.
  4. Set your default currency and any other details.

Price a course or batch

Once a gateway is connected, you can set a price on a course or a paid batch (with an amount and currency). Published paid items then show a price, and a learner pays to enrol.

How a learner buys

  1. The learner opens the course or batch in the catalogue.
  2. They click to enrol and are taken to checkout.
  3. They pay through your gateway and are enrolled immediately.
