This page shows you how Zinye ERP handles making things — from the recipe for a product to running the job on the shop floor.
Bill of Materials (BOM)
Section titled “Bill of Materials (BOM)”A Bill of Materials is the recipe: the list of raw materials (and sub-assemblies), their quantities, and optionally the operations needed to make one unit of a finished item. The BOM is the heart of manufacturing — work orders and material planning all build from it.
Create one under Manufacturing → Bill of Materials → Bill of Materials. Zinye ERP supports multi-level BOMs, so a product can be made of sub-assemblies that each have their own BOM.
Production plan
Section titled “Production plan”A Production Plan looks at demand — your open sales orders — and works out what to make and what to buy to meet it. From the plan you can generate the work orders and material requests in one go, so planning isn’t a spreadsheet exercise.
Work Order
Section titled “Work Order”A Work Order tells the shop floor to make a quantity of an item. Create one under Manufacturing → Production → Work Order: pick the item to manufacture (its default BOM fills in), enter the quantity, and set a planned start date. Zinye ERP then works out the raw materials needed.
As production happens, you record material movements (via stock entries) against the work order, and the finished goods land back in stock — keeping inventory and costs accurate throughout.
