Version upgrades
This page shows you how to upgrade a site to a new major version of its app (for example moving from Version 15 to Version 16).
Why upgrade
Section titled “Why upgrade”New major versions bring features, fixes, and continued support. You don’t have to upgrade the moment a version lands, but staying reasonably current keeps you supported and secure.
Upgrade your site
Section titled “Upgrade your site”- Open your site and go to the Updates (or Actions) area.
- Choose Version upgrade and pick the target version.
- Confirm. Zinye backs up, migrates your data to the new version, and brings the site back up.
The site is briefly unavailable during the migration, so pick a quiet time.
After upgrading
Section titled “After upgrading”- Check your day-to-day workflows still behave as expected.
- If you use custom or marketplace apps, confirm they support the new version before you upgrade — an incompatible app is the usual cause of a failed upgrade.
