Batches & live classes

This page shows you how to run a batch — a group of learners going through together — and hold live classes.

Self-paced courses are great, but sometimes you want a cohort: a group that starts together, follows a schedule, and gets live teaching. A batch does exactly that, and lets you track the whole group’s progress in one place — ideal for onboarding a new intake of staff or running a paid course.

  1. Open Batches and click + New.
  2. Give it a name and a start/end date.
  3. Add the courses the batch will cover.
  4. Add the students (or let them enrol), and assign instructors/evaluators.
  5. Publish the batch.

You can hold live video classes for a batch by connecting a video tool such as Zoom:

  1. In the batch, schedule a live class with a date and time.
  2. Add the meeting link (Zoom can be connected so this is handled for you).
  3. Learners in the batch see the scheduled class and join from there.

From the batch you can see who’s keeping up and who’s fallen behind, and manage evaluations — so no one quietly drops off.
