Certificates & badges
This page shows you how to recognise learners’ achievements in Zinye Learn — with badges as they go and a certificate when they finish.
Badges
Section titled “Badges”A badge is a small reward that’s awarded automatically when a learner does something you define. You set up a badge with a rule, and Zinye Learn assigns it when the rule is met. Badges can trigger on:
- Quiz completion — optionally only when they score well (say, 100%)
- Course completion — when their progress reaches 100%
- Training completion — finishing a batch
To create one, give the badge a title, description, and image, choose the triggering event, and add any conditions. You can switch on grant only once so a learner can’t earn the same badge twice.
Badges are a light, motivating way to keep learners moving — visible proof of progress without any manual work.
Certificates
Section titled “Certificates”A certificate is the formal proof a learner completed a course — the thing that makes Zinye Learn useful for compliance training and customer certification, not just casual learning.
Use the default, or design your own
Section titled “Use the default, or design your own”Zinye Learn comes with a default certificate template that works out of the box. To brand it as yours:
- Create a Print Format for the certificate (using the Print Format Builder or the Print Designer).
- Set its DocType to LMS Certificate.
- Design the layout — your logo, colours, wording, and the learner/course details.
- Use it as the certificate template for your courses.
The result is a polished, on-brand certificate learners can download and share.
