Dedicated servers
This page covers dedicated servers — an advanced option for businesses that have outgrown shared hosting.
What you get
Section titled “What you get”On shared hosting, even a private bench still shares the underlying server with others. A dedicated server gives you your own compute resources for your sites, so performance isn’t affected by anyone else.
Dedicated servers come as a pair — an Application server and a Database server — created in the same region. You can size each independently.
Why choose one
Section titled “Why choose one”- Isolation — your sites don’t share resources with other customers.
- Run as many sites as you like — “sites on these servers don’t cost you anything extra,” so you can host as many sites and bench groups as the server can handle, for one predictable cost.
- More control — SSH access and database management are available.
Create a server
Section titled “Create a server”From Servers in the dashboard, create a new server, choose the region and the plan/size for the application and database servers, and launch it. You can then create sites and benches on it.
