Charts
This page shows you how to turn a query’s result table into a chart — a picture of your data that’s far easier to read than rows of numbers.
Create a chart
Section titled “Create a chart”- Open the query whose result you want to show.
- Switch to the chart view (or add a chart in your workbook).
- Zinye Insights suggests the best chart for your data — accept it or pick another type.
- Choose which fields go where (for example month across the bottom, sales up the side).
The chart updates live as your query changes, so it always reflects the latest answer.
Pick the right chart
Section titled “Pick the right chart”A few rules of thumb:
- Number — a single headline figure (today’s sales, cash in bank)
- Bar — comparing categories (sales by item, tickets by team)
- Line — a trend over time (revenue by month)
- Pie / donut — parts of a whole (sales by region) — best with only a few slices
- Table — when the detail matters and the exact figures are the point
