General
Section titled “General”Where is my data hosted? Your sites run in Falkenstein, Germany. You can see a site’s region on its Overview tab under Site Information.
Do I need to install anything? No. Zinye Cloud is fully web-based — you use your app in the browser, and Zinye runs and maintains the servers for you.
Is my data backed up? Yes. Zinye Cloud takes regular offsite backups of every site automatically. You can also take and download your own — see Backups & restore.
Trials & billing
Section titled “Trials & billing”What happens when my trial ends? As long as a payment method is on file, your site keeps running and the plan you chose starts billing. Without a payment method, the site is paused.
How do I change or cancel a plan? Open the site’s Overview tab and click Upgrade next to Current Plan to change it. To stop a site entirely, use Deactivate or Drop on the Actions tab. See Plans & billing.
Where are my invoices? In the left menu, click Billing → Invoices.
Sites & domains
Section titled “Sites & domains”Can I use my own web address?
Yes — see Custom domains. Your name.zinye.com address keeps working too.
How do I back up before making a big change? Open the site’s Backups tab and click Schedule Backup before you start. See Backups & restore.
I forgot my password. On the login screen, click Continue with password, then Forgot Password? to reset it by email. You can also log in with a one-time verification code sent to your email.
I can’t log in. Make sure you’re using the email you signed up with. If you’ve turned on two-factor authentication, have your authenticator app ready. Still stuck? Contact support.
