Payroll
This page shows you how to pay your team in Zinye HR — from setting up how pay is calculated to running payroll and producing payslips.
The building blocks
Section titled “The building blocks”Payroll is built from the bottom up:
- Salary components — the individual pieces of pay: earnings (basic, allowances) and deductions (tax, contributions).
- Salary structure — a template that combines those components into a complete pay package. Most businesses have a few structures for different roles.
- Salary structure assignment — links each employee to a structure and sets their amounts.
Run payroll
Section titled “Run payroll”Once employees have a structure assigned, you process everyone together:
- Open Payroll Entry.
- Choose the company, payroll period, and the employees to include.
- Run it. Zinye HR calculates each person’s pay and creates their Salary Slip (payslip) — no manual maths.
Payslips
Section titled “Payslips”Each Salary Slip shows that period’s earnings, deductions, and net pay. Employees can view their own payslips from self-service.
Where the money goes
Section titled “Where the money goes”Because Zinye HR shares a platform with Zinye ERP, the payroll run posts the wage costs straight to your accounts — so your books reflect payroll without re-entering anything.
