Initial setup

This page covers the one-time setup that the payroll and tax features rely on. (E-invoicing has its own setup — see Enable your business & get your keys.)

Open your Company record and fill in the Nigeria Compliance section:

Nigeria Compliance sets up a ready-made “NG Employee Standard” salary structure. Assign it to employees from Payroll → Salary Structure Assignment and it brings in all the Nigerian components automatically:

  • Earnings: Basic, Housing, and Transport allowances (plus statistical components for the pensionable base, employer pension, and NSITF).
  • Deductions: Pension (employee), NHF, NHIS, and PAYE Tax (computed for you — see PAYE).
