Data protection (NDPR)
This page shows you how Zinye helps you meet the Nigeria Data Protection Regulation (NDPR) by logging and tracking data-subject requests — and reminding you before a deadline slips.
What a data-subject request is
Section titled “What a data-subject request is”Under the NDPR, a person whose data you hold can ask you to access, correct, delete, port, or object to the use of their data. You must respond within 30 days. Zinye gives you a place to record each request and track it to completion, so you have an audit trail.
Log a request
Section titled “Log a request”Go to Nigeria Data Subject Request → New and record:
| Field | What to enter |
|---|---|
| Requester name | The person making the request |
| Request type | Access · Correction · Deletion · Portability · Objection |
| Date received | When the request came in |
| Status | Pending → In Progress → Completed / Rejected |
Update the status as you work the request, so anyone can see where it stands.
Deadline reminders
Section titled “Deadline reminders”Zinye sends you email reminders as a request approaches — or passes — its 30-day NDPR deadline, so nothing is missed. Keep an eye on these notifications and close requests out before the clock runs down.
