Projects
This page shows you how to run projects in Zinye ERP — keeping work, time, and money for a piece of work together so you know whether it’s profitable.
Projects and tasks
Section titled “Projects and tasks”A Project is a piece of work with a goal and a budget — a client engagement, an internal initiative, a build. Inside it, you break the work into tasks, each with an owner, dates, and status, so progress is visible at a glance.
Create a project under Projects → Project, then add its tasks. As tasks are completed, the project’s overall progress updates.
Timesheets
Section titled “Timesheets”A Timesheet records the hours people spend — against a task or project. This is what turns “we worked on it” into real numbers: how much time a project actually took, and what it cost in labour.
Costing and billing
Section titled “Costing and billing”Because time, materials, and expenses are logged against the project, Zinye ERP can show its cost and its profitability — and you can bill a customer from the project (for example invoicing the recorded hours). No more guessing whether a job made money.
